This is exactly correct. Human beings are supposed to be the “image” or “reflection” of the character of God on earth. God is holy, and so should we be. God is love, and so should we be. God is light, and so should we be. God is merciful, and so should we be. God is righteous, and so should we be. We were created to be the mirror image of God on earth, reflecting the divine character, but also engaging in the divine tasks, in a lesser and approximate sort of way.
